Then join the Community Gardens Walking Tour with the Neighborhood Gardens Trust, Clean Air Council, and Feet First Philly to see three flourishing community gardens across West Philadelphia, on Saturday, June 14th, from 10 AM until 12 PM.
If you’ve ever wanted an up-close look at a community garden and more information on bringing one into your neighborhood, join us for this walking tour. Learn about three thriving gardens across West Philadelphia:
The tour will begin at 10:00 AM, meeting at Pentridge Children’s Garden, 4929-31 Pentridge Street, Philadelphia, PA 19143, on Saturday, June 14th. The tour will then walk about 12 minutes to the Chester Ave Community Garden, and end at the Warrington Community Garden, which is about a 9 minute walk. To get back to the starting point is about a 7 minute walk.
