Pennypack Environmental Center is located just off of the Pennypack Trail in Northeast Philadelphia. The center is connected via bike lanes along Verree Rd, and a paved on ramp to the trail allows you to quick connection between the trail and bike lane. The center was originally founded as a bird sanctuary. Today it is one of Philadelphia's three environmental centers, and hosts events and programming for all ages.
