Urban Fish Pond
At the corner of Kitty Hawk and 12th St on the shady north side of building No. 624, there is a basement stairwell flooded with goldfish. No one knows for sure how the fish arrived to live in the former shipbuilding warehouse, but Navy Yard visitors have enjoyed stopping and taking a moment to appreciate their new found home.
