Parks on Tap Fairmount Water Works

Enjoy Parks on Tap's at the Fairmount Water Works, and enjoy a drink along the Schuylkill River. Parks on Tap is steps away from the Schuylkill River Trail so work up your thirst with a long bike ride and make the most out of your trip to Parks on Tap at Fairmount Water Works.

Along the Schuylkill River, Fairmount Water Works was built between 1812 and 1872 to provide safe, clean drinking water to a city on the cusp of remarkable growth and was in operation until 1909. Fairmount Water Works now houses a restaurant and an interpretive center that educates the public about local watershed history.

Parks on Tap will join and work with the existing business community outside Water Works.

Cosmic Cafe offers a fresh menu cooked full of local ingredients from farmers who practice sustainable farming practices. Chef Peg Botto offers delicious, scratch made food daily (8 AM - 8 PM). Lloyd Hall Rec Center is a Philadelphia Parks & Recreation facility that features a water fountain, public restroom, information center, cafe, bike rentals, indoor basketball courts, reception hall, and public terrace. Lloyd Hall was built from 1994-1998. It replaced Plaisted Hall as the only public building on Boathouse Row.
