Places We Love

LOVE Park

The name of this public park in Center City is actually JFK Plaza, but it's been affectionately known as LOVE Park since the mid 1970's. The centerpiece is Robert Indiana's iconic "LOVE" statue that greets visitors entering the park from 15th street. The park has had several different rennovations, and was once featured in a skateboarding video game.Today it is a relaxing space surrounded by Philadelphia's skyscrapers, perfect for a lunch time stroll, or a picture in front of the LOVE statue.
